Instead, Aspyr - who famously ported the original KOTOR to mobile phones as well as handled the PC ports of games like Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and the latter two Jedi Knight titles - will take up development duties for this new version of the 2003 classic that explored the Star Wars universe almost 4,000 years before the events of the nine-part Skywalker Saga. ![]() However, the developer behind the original Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic won’t be returning for the upcoming remake.
